They each have wonderful templates to make the website creation process quick, easy, accessible, and fun. Although they are “website builders,” you can customize everything on the site. On your website you can highlight your engagement pictures, list where you are registered for gifts, tell your guests about how you got engaged, and share the stories and relationships of you and your wedding party. It is a place to tell your love story.
Do you enjoy blogging? Or want a way to save and share memories of your wedding planning journey? Most website templates offer a blogging feature. This is not only fun for your guests to view, but it is a place to document your thoughts and experiences along the way. I have seen couples use copies of their blogs in their scrapbooking albums after their wedding day. What a great way to save your real time experiences!
Another wonderful benefit of creating a website is that you can list all of the information for your big day. I always recommend listing your wedding website on the save the dates as well as the invitations. Doing so will allow your guests to easily find the information they need in terms of hotel accommodations, ceremony and reception address, parking information, transportation options, driving directions and rehearsal dinner information. Even if your guests lose their invitation or forget to pack it when they are headed to the event, they can easily access all of the information that they would need.

Another great tool is the creation of to-do lists. You can keep all of your weddings tasks and information in one place. This can really help you stay organized and create your plan of action! There are also calendar tools that can sync with Google calendars to schedule tastings, walk-throughs, appointments, and so much more!
I cannot recommend creating a wedding website enough! It is a personal way to connect with your guests, share your excitement and journey, as well as a way to relieve stress and stay organized (similar to what Wedding Planners do!).
